I have created this profile for two simple reasons:

- Slash fic with grammar, canon, and sex inaccuracies makes me sad.
- I wanted a handle to use when I have something to say about the slash I've been reading on LJ all this time.

So. Here I am. Btsxbeta, aka BB or Beta at your service!

I can help edit/feedback for:

- Grammar
- Teh buttsecks
- BDSM (including but not limited to: rope bondage, wax play, domination, and slave training)
- Canon / characterization

I am kind of a grammar nazi, but after working as a tutor and teacher for years and years, I've gotten a lot gentler with my feedback. I won't give you shit, but I will tell you when I find errors.

I'm a straight gal, but I have actually HAD sex (including teh buttsecks). I've also done a fair bit of research into the topic, courtesy of my interest in BDSM. I'm a switch with experience as both a sub and a domme. I'm not an expert, but I do at least know what I'm talking about.

I am a huge dork about the fandoms I am willing to beta, so I can give good feedback on canon-authenticity and characterization. One bit of bona-fides: I was the pronunciation consultant for one of the commentators on ESPN's coverage of the Lord of the Rings trading card game tourneys. So basically, if the fandom is in my interest, I will beta for it.
